ড্যাফোডিল পলিটেকনিকে বর্ণাঢ্য আয়োজনে ‘মৌসুমী ফল উৎসব–২০২৬’ অনুষ্ঠিত
ঐতিহ্যবাহী দেশীয় ফলের পরিচিতি ও ঐতিহ্য ধরে রাখার প্রয়াসে ড্যাফোডিল পলিটেকনিক ইনস্টিটিউটে অত্যন্ত আনন্দঘন ও উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেল ‘মৌসুমী ফল উৎসব–২০২৬’।
গত ১৬ই জুন, ২০২৬ তারিখ সকাল ১১টায় ড্যাফোডিল গ্রুপের প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা (সিইও) ড. মোহাম্মদ নুরুজ্জামান ফিতা কেটে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে এই বর্ণাঢ্য উৎসবের উদ্বোধন করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন জনাব রথীন্দ্র নাথ দাস, Executive Director, BTEB Affiliated Institutions, Daffodil Group এবং জনাব কে. এম. পারভেজ ববি, Deputy Director, BTEB Affiliated Institutions, Daffodil Group এবং S. M. Jahirul Islam Farhad, Principal(acting), Daffodil Polytechnic.
সকাল ১১টা থেকে শুরু হয়ে বিকেল ৫টা পর্যন্ত দিনব্যাপী এই উৎসবে ড্যাফোডিল পলিটেকনিকের বিভিন্ন বিভাগের অংশগ্রহণে মোট ৮টি আকর্ষণীয় স্টল স্থাপন করা হয়। প্রতিটি স্টলে দেশীয় নানা প্রজাতির মৌসুমী ফল এবং সেগুলো দিয়ে প্রস্তুতকৃত স্বাস্থ্যকর ও সুস্বাদু ফলের তাজা রস (জুস) প্রদর্শন ও পরিবেশন করা হয়।
উদ্বোধন শেষে আমন্ত্রিত অতিথিবৃন্দ প্রতিটি স্টল পরিদর্শন করেন এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের আন্তরিক উপস্থাপনা, সৃজনশীলতা ও ফলের রসের বৈচিত্র্যের ভূয়সী প্রশংসা করেন। এ সময় তারা দেশীয় ফলের পুষ্টিগুণ ও স্বাস্থ্যসচেতনতা বৃদ্ধিতে এমন উদ্যোগের গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরেন।
শুধু উৎসব উদযাপন নয়, এই আয়োজন শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য ছিল একটি বাস্তবভিত্তিক শিক্ষার অনন্য প্ল্যাটফর্ম। স্টল পরিচালনা, পণ্য উপস্থাপন, গ্রাহকসেবা, দলগত সমন্বয় এবং উদ্যোক্তা-সুলভ দক্ষতা অর্জনের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা বাস্তব ব্যবসায়িক কার্যক্রম সম্পর্কে হাতে-কলমে অভিজ্ঞতা লাভ করে। সংশ্লিষ্টদের মতে, এ ধরনের উদ্যোগ শিক্ষার্থীদের কর্মদক্ষতা ও উদ্যোক্তা মনোভাব বিকাশে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে।
“Grand ‘Seasonal Fruit Festival 2026’ Held at Daffodil Polytechnic”
With the aim of promoting the rich heritage of indigenous seasonal fruits and encouraging healthy eating habits among the younger generation, Daffodil Polytechnic Institute successfully organized the “Seasonal Fruit Festival 2026” in a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
The festival was officially inaugurated at 11:00 AM on 16 June 2026 by Dr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Daffodil Group, through a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event was graced by Mr. Rathindra Nath Das, Executive Director, BTEB Affiliated Institutions, Daffodil Group; Mr. K. M. Parvez Boby, Deputy Director, BTEB Affiliated Institutions, Daffodil Group; and S. M. Jahirul Islam Farhad, Acting Principal, Daffodil Polytechnic Institute, as distinguished guests.
The day-long festival, held from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, featured eight attractive stalls representing different academic departments of Daffodil Polytechnic. Each stall showcased a colorful variety of indigenous seasonal fruits alongside freshly prepared fruit juices, highlighting both their nutritional value and cultural significance.
Following the inauguration, the distinguished guests visited each stall and highly appreciated the students’ creativity, presentation skills, and innovative preparation of fresh fruit juices. They emphasized the importance of such initiatives in raising awareness about the nutritional benefits of local fruits while inspiring young people to adopt healthier lifestyles.
Beyond being a cultural celebration, the festival also served as an experiential learning platform for students. Through managing the stalls, presenting products, serving visitors, and working collaboratively, students gained practical knowledge of entrepreneurship, customer service, teamwork, and business operations. The organizers believe that these hands-on experiences will contribute significantly to developing students’ professional competencies and entrepreneurial mindset.
The campus remained lively and festive throughout the day as students, faculty members, and guests enthusiastically participated in the celebration. The Seasonal Fruit Festival reflects Daffodil Polytechnic Institute’s continued commitment to preserving the country’s cultural heritage, promoting healthy living, and creating practical learning opportunities that prepare students for future careers.
