Students of Daffodil Polytechnic participated in the National Hackathon for Cyber Security Fintech Industry.

Daffodil Polytechnic students participated in a national hackathon. The hackathon was held at Daffodil Smart City and was open to students from all Daffodil institutions. Four teams from the Computer Department and one team from the Electrical Department of Daffodil Polytechnic participated in the hackathon.

The theme of the hackathon was “The Role of Cyber Security in Ensuring National Security.” Participants were asked to develop technological solutions to address various security issues.

The projects developed by Daffodil Polytechnic students were highly innovative and creative. Students used new technologies to address various security issues. Their projects included:

⭕ An artificial intelligence (AI)-based security system that can detect online attacks.
⭕ A data encryption method that can protect data from cyber-attacks.
⭕ A multi-factor authentication method that makes user access more secure.

According to the judges of the hackathon, Daffodil Polytechnic students are highly skilled and talented. They are capable of providing effective technological solutions to address various cybersecurity issues.
