Daffodil Polytechnic Institute successfully launched the Foundation Class for Diploma in Engineering for the 2022-23 session on January 21, 2023. The foundation class started with over 540 students. The main objective of this “Road map to a successful career in the context of the market now & in further” program is to fill the gaps of SSC/HSC non-science background students and to determine the career goals of the students.
The chief guest of the ceremony was Mr. Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud Jamal, Secretary of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB). The honorable principal of Daffodil Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Kamrul Hasan Ripon, and the vice principal and deputy director were also present. In addition, the heads of all departments and other teachers and guardians of the new students were present at the ceremony.
In his speech, the chief guest, Mr. Abdullah Al Mahmud Jamal, emphasized the importance of technical education in today’s world. He said that technical education is the key to a successful career. He also congratulated the students for their admission to Daffodil Polytechnic Institute.
The principal of Daffodil Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Kamrul Hasan Ripon, welcomed the students to the institute. He said that Daffodil Polytechnic Institute is committed to providing quality technical education to its students. He also wished the students all the best for their future careers.
The foundation class will run for one year. During this time, the students will be taught the basic concepts of engineering, mathematics, physics, and chemistry. They will also be given training on soft skills, such as communication and teamwork.
This is a valuable initiative by Daffodil Polytechnic Institute to help non-science background students pursue a career in engineering. The foundation class will provide these students with the necessary foundation to succeed in their studies and careers.
