INIT 3.0 program

Daffodil Polytechnic Institute’s Computer Technology students recently participated in the Notre Dame Information Technology Club’s INIT 3.0 program. The event was held on March 3 and 4, 2023, at the Notre Dame University campus in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The INIT 3.0 program is a competition that showcases the innovative projects of students from different universities and colleges in Bangladesh. The competition is divided into three categories: software, hardware, and robotics.

Daffodil Polytechnic Institute’s students competed in the hardware category with three projects: a multi-purpose drone, a multi-purpose car, and an advanced soccer robot.

The multi-purpose drone is equipped with a camera, a GPS, and a speaker. It can be used for surveillance, delivery, and entertainment. The multi-purpose car is equipped with a robotic arm, a scanner, and a winch. It can be used for industrial tasks, such as inspection and repair. The advanced soccer robot is equipped with sensors and motors that allow it to play soccer autonomously.

The Daffodil Polytechnic Institute students’ projects were well-received by the judges. They won the first prize in the hardware category for their multi-purpose drone project. They also won the second prize in the robotics category for their advanced soccer robot project.

The students’ success at the INIT 3.0 program is a testament to their skills and dedication. It is also a reflection of the quality of education they are receiving at Daffodil Polytechnic Institute.

The students are grateful for the opportunity to participate in the INIT 3.0 program. They said that it was a valuable experience that helped them to learn new skills and to network with other students.

The INIT 3.0 program is a success for both the Notre Dame Information Technology Club and Daffodil Polytechnic Institute. It is an opportunity for students to showcase their talents and for universities to collaborate.
