PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

Mechanical Technology is one of the oldest subjects in engineering education. The core aim of this discipline is to design and beautify the interior of a structure. There are lots of challenging opportunities after completing study in this subject. It is very easy to establish oneself in this sector since an architecture engineer can work in the area of Building Construction as a site engineer. It is also possible to establish oneself as an autonomous adviser for the companies. There are also huge opportunities for the architecture engineer in the Gov., Semi Gov. Sector. ”

CAREER PROSPECTS

The opportunities for an Interior Designer are immense. A career solely driven by passion, most Interior Designers work as consultants or they setup their own firm.
There are a many areas where Interior Designers can specialize in like kitchen and bath design, commercial design, hospitality design and lighting design

DURATION AND ASSESSMENT

Diploma in Architecture & Interior designing is a 4-year long program consisting of 8 semesters (1 Semester = 6 months). The final and the midterm exams of each semester is conducted under the supervision of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB). All the exams question, answer script checking and final results are published by the BTEB. Besides this, each student has to attend the regular class test, quiz test, and semester final project. After successful completion, a student will receive a Diploma Certificate.

DURATION AND ASSESSMENT

The Admission procedure starts after the SSC results. There is mainly one session in a year. Students have to follow the admission announcement which is given by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board Authority. Usually, the admission procedure starts after May (depending on the SSC Result).

CAREER PATH

Interior designers make interior spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting decorative items, such as colors, lighting, and materials. They read blueprints and must be aware of building codes and inspection regulations, as well as universal accessibility standards.
