Bangladesh Skill Development Institute (BSDI) Was established in 2006. BSDI has a large lab where courses are conducted by the chief of a five-star hotel.

In the food and beverage industry, a production officer usually works for a food company or organization in a poultry and dairy farm, in a food processing project, and in a soft drink factory.
