ABOUT DPI
Since its inception in 2006, Daffodil Polytechnic Institute has offered four-year Diploma in Engineering and Diploma in Textile Engineering programmes under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB), along with a diverse range of professional and certificate courses.

The institute is recognised as a modern polytechnic, known for pioneering initiatives such as One Student One Laptop, Student Exchange Programme, Employability & Techno‑preneur Development Programme, and strong collaboration with local and international organisations to support student employment and empowerment. DPI remains focused on equipping students with Industry 4.0 skills and preparing a future‑ready workforce.

This event focused on reviewing last year’s achievements and shortcomings while setting strategic goals for 2025. CEO of Daffodil Family Dr Md Nuruzzaman, Principal K M Hasan Ripon, along with all administrative members and teachers, provided valuable guidance for the year ahead.

PITHA UTSAB 2025
The vibrant and colourful “Pitha Utsab 2025” was successfully held with the inauguration by Dr Md Nuruzzaman, CEO of Daffodil Group. Students presented a variety of traditional pithas and foods, showcasing creativity and cultural heritage.

DIPLOMA ENGINEERS JOB FAIR 2025
With participation from 40 reputed companies, Job Fair 2025 connected students with employers through interviews and career‑focused sessions, marking a potential turning point for many careers.

ASSET SKILLS COMPETITION 2025
Organised under the Government of Bangladesh’s ASSET project, students’ innovative projects received high praise from Chief Guest Mohammad Moniruzzaman Bhuiyan, Project Director, DTE (Joint Secretary).

THE LINGUA BEE
Held on 8 February, the English quiz competition saw enthusiastic participation.

EXPLORE DRONE TECHNOLOGY: A HANDS‑ON WORKSHOP
The Robotics Club launched its journey with this workshop, helping students gain hands‑on experience in robotics, AI, and innovative technologies.

NATIONAL SCIENCE FEST 2.0
Students from the Electrical Department, team “Absolute Zero”, became champions in the University‑level Project Innovation segment.

Team “Absolute Zero” achieved 1st Runner‑up at the National Robotics Competition organised by BRAC University Robotics Club.
