PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

Tourism and hospitality industry in Bangladesh is expanding rapidly. Career opportunities in this sector are growing worldwide as global travel, tourism, and service industries continue to rise. At present, every hotel, resort, airline, restaurant, and tourism company needs trained and skilled professionals. Two major opportunities in this field include local and international employment.

Over time, foreign countries are seeking more skilled hospitality workers, and Bangladesh is becoming one of the leading suppliers of trained manpower in this sector. According to global trends, countries in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia are increasingly hiring professionals from developing nations. This creates tremendous opportunities for Bangladeshi graduates.

Students completing this diploma can build their careers in various fields with diverse job titles—including hotel operations, front office management, food & beverage service, travel and tour operations, customer care, event management, and airline service.

DURATION AND ASSESSMENT

There are several Tourism and Hospitality Management diploma courses available in Bangladesh. Build your career in the rapidly growing tourism and hospitality sector, where both local and international job opportunities are increasing every year. To strengthen Bangladesh’s position in the global hospitality industry, institutions approved by the Technical Education Board under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh are providing students with highly practical and industry-oriented training.

In the Tourism & Hospitality Management Technology program, students are taught through an 8 (eight)-semester system with a total duration of 4 (four) years. In this scholarship-based educational structure, students receive free textbooks, and meritorious students can enjoy free education facilities.

The admission procedure starts after the publication of SSC results. Generally, there is one session each year. Interested students must follow the admission notice published by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board Authority. Usually, the admission process begins after May (depending on the SSC Result).

ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY

Minimum SSC equivalent from any discipline with minimum GPA: 2.00 .

HSC (Science) Students can directly join in 3rd Semester
& HSC (Vocational) students can directly join in 4th Semester.( Passing year 2011, GPA: 2.00 )
