Daffodil Polytechnic Online Tech Fest

Organized By Daffodil Polytechnic Computer Department and Computer Club-“DPI DECODER”

 

Online Programming Contest Rules and Regulations:

  1. The contests will be held on May 09th, 2020 (Demo Date) in the online. Contestants should meet online before for a brief introductory talk. Can participate in the Contestants of Secondary, Higher Secondary, and Diploma level students.
  2. Individual students will be allowed to compete. All contestants are required to present valid student information.
  3. Contestants cannot keep any notes or textbooks to the contest area.
  4. Contestants should do so in a quiet way and without disturbing contestants in other Contestants.
  5. The referees will observe the competition in the contest and report any problems or violations of the rules to the Contest Committee.
  6. Each contestant will be allowed to use only a single computer and must write and test their programs on that machine, wholely within the contest time.
  7. Contestants may write their programs in whichever language they prefer. The following programming languages will be available. (a) C, (b) Python.
  8. Contestants may submit only a single solution to each problem. All solutions must be submitted together on a single file. Both the source code and the executable program for each problem must be included in the files. Once submitted they may not be changed!
  9. All Contestants will be given the same set of problems to solve.
  10. Each problem will have a specified point value. The more difficult the problem, the more points a correct solution will receive.
  11. The Contest Committee will tally the scores for each Contestants and publish a complete list.
  12. Programs become the property of the Contest Committee upon entry and may be used for promotional purposes by Contest Committee.
  13. The Contest will take place on May 09th starting at 15:30 (Demo Date and time) and last approximately one hour.

 

Online Graphics Design Contest Rules and Regulations:

  1. The contests will be held on May 09th, 2020 (Demo Date) in the online. Contestants should meet online before for a brief introductory talk. Can participate in the Contestants of Secondary, Higher Secondary, and Diploma level students.
  2. Individual students will be allowed to compete. All contestants are required to present valid student information.
  3. Contestants cannot keep any preview design to the contest area.
  4. Contestants should do so in a quiet way and without disturbing contestants in other Contestants.
  5. The referees will observe the competition in the contest and report any problems or violations of the rules to the Contest Committee.
  6. Each contestant will be allowed to use only a single computer and must design their own machine, wholely within the contest time.
  7. Contestants may make their design in whichever software they prefer.
  8. Contestants may submit only a single design to each problem. All designs must be submitted together on a single raw file. Once submitted they may not be changed!
  9. All Contestants will be given the same set of design to solve.
  10. The design will be judged on Font style and graphics, the flow of design, color, educational components, and clear delivery of the message.
  11. The Contest Committee will tally the scores for each Contestants and publish a complete list.
  12. Graphics become the property of the Contest Committee upon entry and may be used for promotional purposes by Contest Committee.
  13. No hand-drawn entries will be accepted.
  14. The Contest will take place on May 09th starting at 15:30 (Demo Date and time) and last approximately one hour.

 

Online Web Design Contest Rules and Regulations:

  1. The contests will be held on May 09th, 2020 (Demo Date) in the online. Contestants should meet online before for a brief introductory talk. Can participate in the Contestants of Secondary, Higher Secondary, and Diploma level students.
  2. Individual students will be allowed to compete. All contestants are required to present valid student information.
  3. The use of any built-in template, template wizard, or template from the internet or any other source is not permitted and is considered cheating.
  4. Contestants should do so in a quiet way and without disturbing contestants in other Contestants.
  5. The referees will observe the competition in the contest and report any problems or violations of the rules to the Contest Committee.
  6. Each contestant will be allowed to use only a single computer and must write and test their programs on that machine, wholely within the contest time.
  7. Contestants can their Web Design related programs in whichever language they prefer.
  8. Contestants may submit only a single Web Design to each problem. All designs must be submitted together on a single raw file. Both the source code and the executable program for each problem must be included in the files. Once submitted they may not be changed!
  9. All Contestants will be given the same Web Design set of problems to designed.
  10. Each design will have a specified point value.
